Last night in Dubai, Huawei kicked off a new era of high-end consumer technology with the “Unfold the Moment” launch event. The brand unveiled a stunning lineup that reinforces its commitment to blending design, performance, and cultural appreciation. From the technologically advanced Mate X7 foldable phone to an ultra-luxury smartwatch and a tablet geared towards creators, these new devices expand Huawei’s premium ecosystem and set a fresh benchmark for sophisticated tech.

The centerpiece of the launch is the HUAWEI Mate X7, a foldable smartphone that pushes the limits of engineering. Drawing design inspiration from the 1,600-year-old light-woven Chinese silk craftsmanship, brocade, the phone offers a nano fibre-finished Brocade White option, alongside elegant vegan leather choices in Nebula Red and Black. This is technology as a statement piece. More importantly, the Mate X7 brings the power of Huawei’s standard flagships into a foldable form factor with:

  • An upgraded second-generation True-to-Color Camera with 43% better color accuracy.
  • Ultra Lighting HDR Video capable of a whopping 17.5 EV of dynamic range.
  • Reinforced durability, including Ultra Durable Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass on the outer display.

Addressing the growing trend of high-performance luxury accessories, Huawei also unveiled the WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN. The new Royal Gold Edition elevates wearable technology to jewelry status, featuring an industry-first rare-earth purple ceramic bezel with 18K gold. Beyond the stunning aesthetics, it is packed with cutting-edge features for serious users, including sonar-based underwater communication for deep-sea divers and the precise HUAWEI Sunflower Positioning System.

Rounding out the lineup are the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 open-ear earbuds, redesigned for long-lasting comfort and style, and the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S. The MatePad is a powerful tool for young creators, featuring a comfortable and exceptionally clear PaperMatte Display to solve the common issues of traditional matte screens.
