Final Days, Now to Experience The Wonderers’ Kids Fest!

• Families enjoyed outdoor games and imaginative play in a dedicated kids zone
• Character meet and greets and face painting delighted young visitors daily
• Giant interactive games brought classic favourites to life for children
• All activities were included with the Global Village entry ticket

The final weeks of winter at Global Village carried a special kind of energy as families gathered to enjoy the closing days of The Wonderers’ Kids Fest, a seasonal attraction that turned everyday evenings into playful adventures. With the festival concluding on 15 February, the event gave children and parents one last opportunity to slow down, step outdoors, and spend meaningful time together in a setting designed entirely around imagination and fun.

Designed for children aged three to twelve, The Wonderers’ Kids Fest transformed a dedicated zone beside the Kids’ Theatre into a lively playground where curiosity led the way. Each afternoon, the space came alive with colour, movement, and laughter as young guests explored interactive installations, joined friendly competitions, and met cheerful characters who brought the festival’s spirit to life. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, encouraging families to linger rather than rush.

At the heart of the experience was hands-on play. Oversized versions of familiar games created instant excitement, while creative activities added a layer of discovery that appealed to different ages and interests. Children moved freely between stations, choosing how they wanted to engage, while parents watched from nearby seating or joined in the fun themselves.

Festival highlights included:

  • Giant Snakes and Ladders, Battleship, 4-in-a-Row, and Stack’Em games
  • Character meet and greets that sparked smiles and photo moments
  • Face painting and playful surprises throughout the zone
  • Daily sessions running from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM

What made The Wonderers’ Kids Fest especially appealing was its simplicity. All experiences were included with the standard Global Village entry ticket, removing barriers and allowing families to focus on enjoying the moment. The open-air setting made the most of cooler evenings, offering a refreshing alternative to indoor entertainment and screen-heavy routines.

As the festival drew to a close, it stood out as a reminder of the joy found in shared experiences. Laughter over a game, teamwork between siblings, and parents cheering from the sidelines became the lasting memories of the season. The Wonderers’ Kids Fest may have ended, but the moments created there continued to linger long after the final day!
