Summer holidays are no longer just about keeping children entertained. Across Dubai, parents are increasingly looking for experiences that blend fun with meaningful learning, giving children opportunities to explore new interests while staying active during the warmer months. The Green Planet Summer Camp returns this July with exactly that balance, transforming the city’s indoor tropical rainforest into an unforgettable classroom filled with adventure.
Running from 6 July to 21 August, the programme welcomes children aged five to twelve into an immersive biodome that’s home to more than 3,000 plants and animals. Each day introduces campers to rainforest life through interactive activities, wildlife encounters and creative challenges designed to build confidence, curiosity and a stronger appreciation for nature.
Rather than relying on traditional lessons, the camp encourages children to discover nature through experience. Weekly themes keep every visit different, from Rainforest Rangers exploring ecosystems and biodiversity to Animal Adventures where children step into the role of zookeepers while learning about habitats, diets and animal behaviour.

Eco Heroes Wednesdays introduce dedicated Nikon photography workshops, giving young explorers the chance to capture their favourite rainforest moments while developing creative skills. Jungle Scientists Thursdays round out the week with weather experiments, STEM activities and guided explorer walks that make science approachable and exciting.
One of the biggest highlights remains the chance to meet the biodome’s remarkable residents up close. Campers can encounter Kendrick the baby lemur, Lemon the sloth and many other rainforest species while learning directly from wildlife experts. These memorable interactions help children build lasting connections with conservation and biodiversity in ways that books simply cannot replicate.
As indoor experiences continue to grow in popularity across Dubai’s summer season, destinations that combine education, entertainment and comfort are becoming increasingly attractive for families. The Green Planet’s fully climate controlled rainforest offers children the freedom to explore, play and discover while staying comfortably indoors throughout the day.
With prices starting from AED 250 per day, including lunch and snacks, plus an early bird weekly package from AED 600, the programme delivers excellent value for families looking to fill the school break with enriching experiences. Spaces are limited, and bookings are now open for another season of unforgettable rainforest adventures!
