UNIFYD Festival Brings a Powerful Night of Indian Music to Abu Dhabi!

Curated by Shah Rukh Khan, the one-day event brings more than 15 artists to Yas Island.

  • Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam headline the festival.
  • Shah Rukh Khan will guide the festival’s artistic direction and creative vision.
  • More than 15 artists will perform across multiple stages.
  • Emirates NBD cardholders receive early ticket access before general sales open.

Some songs become part of a person’s life, from romantic melodies playing on long drives to Punjabi hits filling the speakers at a weekend gathering. Live music makes those connections feel even closer. The UNIFYD festival is bringing that shared experience to Abu Dhabi on March 20, 2027, with a lineup spanning generations of Indian music and a setting built for a large-scale celebration. Yas Island gets the first edition.

A playlist can move from a heartfelt Arijit Singh ballad to a Karan Aujla track without missing a beat, while Sonu Nigam’s voice carries memories for listeners who have followed Indian music for decades. UNIFYD brings all three artists together at Etihad Live on Yas Island. That is the draw. Sonu Nigam is also scheduled to perform at a music festival for the first time in his career, according to the organisers.

The event will feature more than 15 artists across multiple stages, creating space for different sounds and audiences throughout the day. Shah Rukh Khan is curating the festival’s artistic direction, extending his connection with Indian entertainment into live music. The vision goes beyond one genre. For the UAE’s South Asian community, it creates an opportunity to gather around music that travels across languages, generations and borders.

A festival day often starts well before the first performance, with friends arranging transport, groups debating when to arrive and fans planning which acts they cannot miss. UNIFYD is being produced by D’YAVOL Live and District, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, and Miral, with Emirates NBD as an associate partner. It is a large-scale production.

Abu Dhabi’s choice as the inaugural host connects the festival to Yas Island’s established entertainment offering, while its ambitions extend beyond the UAE. Organisers have indicated plans to take UNIFYD into additional cities and international markets. The first stop is Abu Dhabi. For now, the focus is on bringing Indian music and culture to one shared venue.

For fans hoping to be there, ticket access begins before the general sale. Emirates NBD cardholders can access early tickets exclusively through the District app from 9:30am GST on October 19 until 9:30am GST on October 20, 2026. Mark the dates.

General ticket sales open on October 20 at 10:30am GST, also through the District app. Ticket prices have not been specified in the announcement, so check the app for the latest availability and details before booking.

With Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam on one bill, UNIFYD offers fans a rare chance to experience distinct chapters of Indian music in a single event. Explore the ticket details, gather your concert group and save March 20, 2027, for Yas Island!
