As the festive spirit of Eid draws near, the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors seeking peace, spirituality, and celebration. Given the temple’s immense popularity—having hosted over 2.2 million visitors in its first year—authorities are implementing measures to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. With over 60,000 devotees visiting during Eid 2024, Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Mandir management, has issued essential visitor guidelines to manage the high influx of guests.

Key Guidelines for Eid Weekend Visits:
  • Visiting Hours: Open from 9 AM to 8 PM (last entry by 8 PM).
  • Mandatory Pre-Registration: Visitors must register in advance via the “Mandir Abu Dhabi” app or the official website: www.mandir.ae/visit.
  • Time Slot Adherence: Arrive at the Mandir as per your assigned time slot for seamless crowd management.
  • Parking: On-site ample parking is available within the Mandir campus; there is no remote parking.
  • Enhanced Facilities: Expanded parking areas and shaded waiting zones have been introduced for visitor comfort.
  • Monday Closure: The Mandir will remain closed on Mondays—plan visits accordingly.
