EV World Dubai Puts The Future Of Transport In Focus!

Dubai’s new electric mobility event brings global technology, investment and transport expertise together.

  • EV World Dubai will welcome over 300 participating organisations.
  • More than 70 speakers will explore future mobility solutions.
  • Electric vehicles, hydrogen technology and charging systems take centre stage.
  • Dubai’s zero-emission transport plans shape the three-day event.

Dubai residents are already seeing transport change around them, from hybrid taxis moving through Sheikh Zayed Road to quieter electric vehicles appearing across the city. Now, EV World Dubai is bringing the people behind that shift together, with the inaugural event taking place from 10 to 12 November at Dubai World Trade Centre.

A familiar Dubai commute could look very different within the next decade. RTA has already pushed environmentally friendly vehicles into more than 72% of its taxi and limousine fleet, while electric vehicles account for 19%. The numbers point to a city preparing for a different kind of road ahead. Change is already visible.

Inside EV World 2026, that conversation will move far beyond the car itself. More than 300 companies, authorities and organisations are expected to gather alongside 70 speakers and over 10,000 visitors, bringing together manufacturers, investors, technology providers and transport specialists. Expect plenty of industry talk.

For anyone watching Dubai’s mobility scene, the interesting part is how many technologies now sit under the same roof. Fast-charging stations, battery management, hydrogen fuel cells, smart infrastructure and artificial intelligence will all feature across the exhibition and conference. Mobility is becoming an ecosystem.

That ecosystem matters during an ordinary taxi ride too. Faster charging can mean less downtime for drivers, smarter infrastructure can support smoother operations, and better vehicle technology can change how passengers experience a trip across the city. Small improvements add up quickly.

Dubai’s own transport plans give the event an even bigger context. RTA’s Zero-Emissions Public Transportation in Dubai 2050 strategy covers public buses, taxis, marine transport and emerging autonomous systems, creating a long-term roadmap for cleaner mobility. The destination is clear.

Beyond electric cars, visitors will also see how hydrogen, autonomous transport and air mobility could fit into future urban life. RTA is already testing autonomous electric vehicles with international partners, while its marine transport network is moving towards electric and hydrogen-powered propulsion. Even the abra is getting a quieter future.

International partnerships will add another layer. RTA has worked with China EV100 to expand participation from Chinese electric vehicle and new energy companies, while promotional efforts have reached Germany, Belgium and India. Dubai is positioning the event as a meeting point for global mobility expertise and regional opportunity.

For Dubai residents, EV World 2026 offers a glimpse of what may soon feel ordinary on the city’s roads, waterways and transport networks. From 10 to 12 November, Dubai World Trade Centre becomes the place to see that future taking shape. Explore the event and see where mobility goes next!
