Dubai just got a whole lot tastier. On April 11–12, 2025, Huom Culinary Canvas teamed up with the legendary Le Cordon Bleu for a two-day gourmet experience that turned Wasl Square into the epicenter of fine food, French flair, and culinary dreams in the making.
Kicking things off, Chef Fabrice Monperrus—a Master Chef from Le Cordon Bleu—led an intimate, hands-on workshop, guiding participants through the iconic “Poulet Reine Elizabeth,” the coronation chicken originally created in 1953 for Queen Elizabeth II. It wasn’t just cooking—it was storytelling on a plate, and the twelve lucky participants left with more than just recipes—they left with unforgettable memories.

The evening turned sweet with a Black Cherry Soufflé demonstration, where guests got a behind-the-scenes look into the precision and poetry of French pâtisserie. Think whisking, tasting, and a whole lot of phones snapping Boomerangs.
April 12 capped it all off with an exclusive open house at Huom, spotlighting Le Cordon Bleu’s world-class culinary programs and celebrating 130 years of excellence. From behind-the-scenes tours to live demos, aspiring chefs and curious foodies got a true taste of what it means to learn from the best.
And though the aprons are now folded and the kitchen’s cooled, the experience still lingers—on social feeds, in inspired hearts, and maybe even in a few homemade soufflés across Dubai.
