January in Abu Dhabi is made for plans that stretch beyond dinner. Cooler evenings bring people outdoors, Yas Island gets busier and major entertainment fills the calendar. IIFA 2027 Abu Dhabi now adds two star-filled dates to that winter mood, bringing Indian cinema, live performances and celebrity appearances to Etihad Arena on January 22 and 23.
A Yas Island outing rarely ends with just one activity. Brunch can turn into an afternoon by the waterfront before a concert takes over the evening. IIFA Awards 2027 fits neatly into that rhythm, with Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan hosting while Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Janhvi Kapoor take the stage.
For fans travelling from Dubai, the appeal goes beyond the arena doors. Yas Island is already built around entertainment, dining and short getaways, making an IIFA weekend easy to turn into a winter staycation. Dinner first. Then the red carpet.
