Dubai has never been a city that waits for change to arrive. From driverless transport plans to smart public services, the emirate’s pace depends on organisations that can adapt just as quickly. RTA Dubai is taking that idea into its own workplace, opening a new Institutional Readiness and Development Centre during Corporate Transformation Week 2026.
A room filled with people exchanging ideas can sometimes be more valuable than another presentation on a screen. RTA’s four-day Corporate Transformation Week brought around 480 participants together through seminars, panels and specialist workshops focused on how organisations can respond to change. People talked, questioned and tested ideas.
Inside the new centre, that hands-on approach continues through the Corporate Agility Lab, an interactive space created for developing ideas and exploring more flexible ways of working. Employees can move beyond theory and experiment with practical approaches to organisational agility. That makes the concept tangible.
Across the week, 10 seminars, two panel discussions and four specialist training workshops brought local, regional and international experts into the conversation. Organisations including the Business Agility Institute, X2A and APQC shared approaches to governance, process excellence, capability building and change management. The focus stayed practical.

For employees, the difference can show up in surprisingly ordinary moments. A process that once took several steps might become simpler, a team may respond faster to a new challenge, or a manager might have better tools for guiding colleagues through change. Small shifts matter.
The programme also included a Change Management Exhibition, giving visitors a closer look at RTA’s own transformation practices and examples of successful organisational change. It turns an abstract corporate idea into something people can actually see. That makes learning easier to take back to work.
One of the week’s biggest developments came through a strategic agreement with the Business Agility Institute to establish its first global Agility Centre of Excellence at RTA. The centre will translate international best practices into an operational framework tailored to the authority’s needs, while supporting executive seminars, workshops and professional certifications.
A transport authority preparing for the future needs more than new infrastructure. It needs people who can adapt alongside it. Through Agile training, internal trainer certification and collaboration with APQC, RTA is putting capability building at the centre of its development strategy.
For Dubai residents, that matters beyond the office. Faster adaptation inside the organisation can influence how efficiently public services evolve, how mobility priorities are delivered and how the city responds to new expectations. The work starts with people.
RTA’s latest step gives that thinking a permanent home. The Institutional Readiness and Development Centre is now positioned as a space where knowledge, experimentation and workplace development can meet, giving Dubai’s future mobility plans a stronger human foundation!
