• Three cosmic weekends of stargazing at Jebel Hafit Desert Park
  • Explore Arab astronomy with smart telescopes and UV art
  • Glow-in-the-dark drumming, archaeology tours, and astrophotography magic
  • Camp or glamp under the stars with desert BBQ vibes

Forget boring weekend plans—this spring, the desert sky’s got bigger stories to tell. Welcome to Celestial Connections, the UAE’s most magical three-weekend stargazing series, set against the ancient, whispering backdrop of Jebel Hafit Desert Park. From April 19 to May 3, 2025, this isn’t just stargazing. It’s a cosmic celebration of Arab astronomy, desert adventure, and interstellar bonding.

Hosted under the UNESCO-listed shadow of Jebel Hafit, this nighttime escape fuses deep-sky discovery with cultural creativity. Families, explorers, and moon-eyed romantics are all invited to chase constellations with smart telescopes, join glow-in-the-dark drum circles, experiment with UV painting, and even unlock the secrets of the stars with hands-on astrophotography led by Al Sadeem Observatory’s expert astronomers. Oh, and did we mention night-time archaeology tours and cosmic surprises?

The vibe? Think science museum meets campfire storytelling—with a sprinkle of celestial magic. Attendees can sip on complimentary cultural snacks while orbiting through artistic workshops or go full desert-chic by pre-ordering a BBQ box to cook over an open fire. Prefer to BYO dinner? That works too.

Whether you’re pitching your own tent or glamping it out at Pura Eco Retreat, the after-hours glow of this experience promises more than just photo ops—it’s about reconnecting, reflecting, and making space for wonder under the UAE’s starlit sky.
