More than 200 Zeekr owners, alongside media representatives and key opinion leaders, gathered at one of the world’s most iconic racing venues for a full day of performance driving, immersive experiences and an exclusive first look at the brand’s upcoming flagship SUV. The occasion marked not only Zeekr’s fifth anniversary, but also the growing influence of premium electric mobility within the UAE and wider Middle East markets.
The rise of electric vehicles across the Gulf region has created a new kind of automotive consumer, one who values technology, sustainability and experience equally. Across the UAE, premium EV ownership continues to grow as consumers increasingly embrace intelligent mobility solutions without compromising on luxury or performance.
Its global Zeekr Dynamic platform places owners at the centre of the brand experience, creating opportunities for communities to connect through shared experiences and performance events. At Yas Marina Circuit, participants experienced track sessions featuring the Zeekr 9X and 7X, drag racing challenges and professional drift ride-alongs, culminating in a celebratory parade lap around the Grand Prix circuit.
Making its first UAE appearance, the Zeekr 9X represents the brand’s most ambitious product to date. Described as the world’s first luxury super-hybrid built on a pure electric platform, the flagship SUV combines more than 1,400 horsepower with a range exceeding 1,250 kilometres and charging capabilities that can restore battery capacity from 20 to 80 percent in approximately nine minutes.
Yet performance is only part of the story. Inside, the Zeekr 9X introduces the company’s AI-powered operating system through dual 16-inch displays, advanced driver assistance technologies and voice-controlled smart functionality designed to create a fully connected driving experience.
Luxury remains equally important. Floating Cloud seats with massage, recliner and swivel functions, Nappa leather finishes, natural wood trim and a 32-speaker Naim Signature sound system position the vehicle firmly within the tech luxury category that Zeekr is seeking to define.
