The queen of romantic comedies is making a grand return! Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy hits theaters regionally on February 13, bringing back the charmingly chaotic, utterly lovable Bridget, played once again by two-time Academy Award® winner Renée Zellweger. Get ready for more laughs, more romance, and more iconic Bridget moments as she navigates life, love, and motherhood—one hilarious misstep at a time.

This time, we meet Bridget as a single mother after the heartbreaking loss of her husband, Mark Darcy (played by Colin Firth). Now raising her two children, Billy and Mabel, she’s stepping back into the world of dating—reluctantly, awkwardly, and in true Bridget fashion. With the encouragement of her loyal friends (and even the ever-charming Daniel Cleaver, played by Hugh Grant), she tries her hand at modern romance, where a much younger, enthusiastic suitor (Leo Woodall) shakes up her world. Meanwhile, juggling work, school moms, and her unpredictable love life proves as messy, endearing, and laugh-out-loud funny as ever.

The film boasts an all-star cast, including Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones, and Isla Fisher as Bridget’s lively new neighbor. Michael Morris directs this highly anticipated installment, with a script co-written by Helen Fielding, the original creator of Bridget’s world. Produced by the powerhouse team behind Les Misérables, The Theory of Everything, and Darkest Hour, this film is set to be a romcom classic.

Whether you’ve followed Bridget’s journey from day one or are just joining the madness, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy promises laughs, nostalgia, and a whole lot of heart.

The film will be released in theaters regionally on February 13th, the local trailer can be viewed here.
