That’s what 33 kids from Al Etihad Charity Foundation experienced at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3, thanks to a touching collaboration between LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort and a powerhouse lineup of local authorities and travel giants. What started as a tour through immigration, lounges, and customs ended with LEGO gift sets and mascot hugs, turning a routine day into a joyful memory.
In sync with the UAE’s Year of Community, this initiative was more than a cheerful moment, it was a message. From the moment these children walked through Terminal 3’s doors, they were met with an airport crew determined to make every second feel magical. Partnering with Dubai Police, Emirates, FlyDubai, RTA, and more, the day offered the kids a rare look inside the airport’s daily bustle, complete with behind-the-scenes action.
What stole the show? The arrival of LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort’s playful mascots, the iconic Boy and Girl, armed with custom LEGO® sets for every child. Right at the customs checkpoint, laughter replaced long queues. The atmosphere turned delightfully loud with excitement, all rooted in one core idea: play has the power to connect, uplift, and inspire.
