• Passenger numbers jump thirty three percent, crossing ten million milestone
• Route network expands sixty six percent across Middle East and South Asia
• On time performance leads Middle East and North Africa all year
• New bases, aircraft, and loyalty partnerships power long term growth
A year defined by pace, precision, and scale came into clear focus as flyadeal wrapped up 2025 with a run of milestones that reshaped expectations for low cost travel in the region. The Saudi carrier carried more than 10 million passengers for the first time in a calendar year, marking a thirty three percent rise that comfortably outpaced capacity growth. The result was a year where demand, reliability, and network ambition moved in lockstep.
Growth showed up everywhere. flyadeal expanded its route map by sixty six percent compared with 2024, supported by additional aircraft and a wider international footprint. Seasonal and year round destinations climbed by fifty percent across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, and South Asia. The airline also more than doubled the number of pilgrims flown on dedicated Hajj and Umrah services, reaching 220,000 worshippers and reinforcing its role in supporting travel to the Kingdom.
Operational strength underpinned the expansion. A new Operations Control Centre opened in Jeddah, four times larger than the previous facility, built to manage the complexity of a growing fleet and network. Madinah was announced as the airline’s fourth operational base, while flyadeal became the first Saudi carrier to wet lease aircraft into and out of the Kingdom. In a regional first, Saudi cabin crew also began training as accredited tour guides, blending service with cultural insight.

Commercially, 2025 marked a step change. flyadeal joined the International Air Transport Association, widening access to travel agents worldwide. The airline also launched its first loyalty offering through a partnership with AlFursan, allowing passengers to earn and redeem miles on flyadeal flights. A strategic commitment to widebody aircraft followed, with an order for ten Airbus A330s signalling entry into the long haul low cost market.
The year closed with an achievement that defined flyadeal’s reputation. The airline finished 2025 as the most punctual low cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, averaging close to ninety percent on time performance. In June, it ranked number one globally across both low cost and full service airlines, a result built on disciplined planning, fleet flexibility, and teams operating at scale.
With more than 1,800 employees, new pilot and internship programmes, and continued investment in technology and people, flyadeal enters 2026 with momentum firmly on its side. The focus now turns to building on this foundation, expanding responsibly, and keeping fares low while standards stay high!
