Dubai Brunch Gets Wild With The MAINE’s New Weekend Feast!

A lavish JBR gathering brings seafood, live stations, cocktails, and serious weekend energy.

  • Unlimited seafood takes centre stage at this lavish JBR weekend brunch.
  • Fresh pasta, stone-fired pizza, and premium cuts arrive throughout afternoon.
  • Four hours of free-flowing drinks keep the weekend energy going.
  • Gelato, sorbets, and unlimited toppings finish this indulgent feast beautifully.

There’s a particular rhythm to a Dubai weekend: late starts, long lunches, and plans that somehow stretch well beyond sunset. Dubai brunch culture has become part of that ritual, with diners increasingly looking for experiences that feel like an occasion rather than simply another meal. At JBR, The MAINE is leaning fully into that appetite. Go big.

A table piled with chilled seafood is hard to ignore. At The MAINE JBR, OVERBOARD begins with a Raw Bar loaded with shrimp cocktail, tuna and salmon tartare, sea bass ceviche, crab claws, scallops, langoustines, mussels, and clams. There’s more. Market fish also arrives as crudo, sashimi, and tiradito, giving seafood lovers plenty to circle back to before touching the rest of the menu.

The best part of a weekend brunch is often watching your food being made rather than waiting for another plate to appear. At OVERBOARD, guests can move between live stations for stone-fired pizza, where seasonal vegetables, cured meats, artisan cheeses, pesto, and house-made tomato bases are layered onto fresh dough. Nearby, pasta is tossed to order over a Parmesan wheel. It gets wonderfully messy.

Around the room, friends stretching lunch into the afternoon can switch from Shrimp Linguini to Spicy Rigatoni, while anyone craving something heartier can head towards the Carvery for côte de boeuf, lamb ribs, rack of lamb, or truffle spatchcock chicken. This kind of grazing suits Dubai’s social dining culture, where generous spreads and shared plates often become the centre of the gathering. Dubai’s official tourism guide continues to spotlight brunch as a major part of the city’s dining scene, with experiences ranging from relaxed weekend meals to elaborate feasts.

Then comes the part that can derail even the most disciplined dessert plan. A roaming Gelato Trolley serves house-churned pistachio ice cream, lemon sorbet, and lemon posset, with candied nuts, chocolate shavings, and unlimited toppings. Children can hover nearby while adults quietly return for another scoop. Nobody rushes dessert.

For the drinks crowd, four hours of free-flowing Bloody Marys, Mimosas, house wines, bottled beer, spirits, and hot and cold beverages keep the table moving. The Bloody Mary selection adds another playful detail, from the classic vodka version to a Red Snapper with gin and rosemary-stuffed olives. Brunch gets theatrical.

Running every Saturday and Sunday in two sittings, from 12pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm, OVERBOARD starts at AED 450 per person. With Prosecco and Champagne upgrades available, it’s built for birthdays, reunions, or simply those JBR weekends where stopping at one course feels like a missed opportunity!
