For golf fans, November in Dubai brings a familiar date to circle on the calendar. The season’s biggest names arrive at Jumeirah Golf Estates, the Earth Course becomes the centre of attention, and the final standings can change with every round. This year, the DP World Tour Championship carries an especially compelling storyline, with Spain’s Eugenio Chacarra arriving as the Race to Dubai leader.

Chacarra has put together the strongest season of his career so far. His victory at the DP World India Championship in Delhi, where he finished 21 under par, was his third title of 2026 after wins at the KLM Open and the DS Automobiles 83° Open d’Italia. That result lifted him to 4,092.89 points and the top of the rankings. To Dubai 2026: The Stars Chasing Golf’s Biggest Prize

A season finale is rarely short of drama, but Chacarra has history within reach. Winning the Harry Vardon Trophy would make him only the third Spanish player to finish as European Number One, following Seve Ballesteros and Jon Rahm. He arrives in Dubai playing what he describes as the best golf of his career.

Standing in his way is a field packed with familiar names. Rory McIlroy returns in pursuit of an eighth Harry Vardon Trophy, which would bring him level with Colin Montgomerie’s record. Dubai resident Tommy Fleetwood is also chasing another UAE title, while Adrian Meronk arrives after ending a 1,078-day wait for his fifth DP World Tour victory. Patrick Reed, Aaron Rai and Ryan Fox add further weight to the contest.

The action runs from 12 to 15 November, but spectators don’t need to follow every leaderboard update to enjoy the occasion. The Championship Village brings its own reasons to stay, including kids’ zones, free golf lessons, trick-shot shows, big screens and sports activities. Families can make a day of it. Saturday is Ladies Day, while Sunday is Family Day.

For those who prefer to watch the decisive shots from a dedicated spot, the ticket options include the 1st Tee Experience, Ticket+ access to The Greatest Bar on Earth overlooking the 17th green, and premium hospitality at the Earth Lounge and Championship Chalet. Some packages are already sold out, including Friday at the Earth Lounge and Sunday at the Championship Chalet.

There is also a business side to tournament week. The DP World Tour Breakfast Club returns on 11 November at the Championship Chalet, bringing business leaders, partners and golf enthusiasts together for breakfast and networking. Tickets are priced from AED 200.

The DP World Tour Championship offers Dubai a weekend of elite golf, social experiences and family activities in one setting. Register for free Thursday admission or explore general admission and hospitality options at the official tournament website before heading to Jumeirah Golf Estates.
