Art Connects Women 2026 Brings International Voices Together to Rethink the Future of Culture and Investment

Four days of exhibitions and conversations connect women shaping art, culture and investment.

  • Four-day programme brings artists, collectors and cultural leaders to DIFC.
  • Conference explores cultural investment, sustainable finance and artificial intelligence in the arts.
  • Public exhibition viewing runs 13 to 15 November, from 3pm.
  • Panel brings together Christie’s Middle East, Qatar Foundation and YES Collection.

An art collection can begin with a single painting, but its influence often reaches far beyond the walls where it hangs. In Dubai, conversations around collecting are increasingly touching on patronage, access and who gets to shape cultural life. Art Connects Women Dubai returns this November with a programme asking how women, institutions and private investment can help decide what the future of art looks like.

A gallery viewing might start with a close look at a canvas, then turn into a conversation about the artist, the story behind the work and who will support their next project. That wider discussion sits at the heart of the ninth edition of Art Connects Women, organised by ZeeArts at DIFC Gate Village from 12 to 15 November. There is plenty to discuss.

The programme opens with a private exhibition viewing on 12 November, followed by a conference on 13 November titled Cultural Investment: Art’s New Era in Sustainable Finance and AI. Its central question reaches beyond the art market: how can cultural institutions and private capital support creative work for the long term? One opening panel, Rethinking Cultural Investment: From Patronage to Sustainable Finance, brings together representatives from Christie’s Middle East, Qatar Foundation and YES Collection.

The conversation also reflects a wider shift in the international art world. The 2026 Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting found that women collectors attended around 20% more art events than men in both 2025 and 2026, while women were also more likely to buy work by artists they had not previously collected. Participation matters. It can shape which artists gain visibility and which stories enter public collections.

Some of the most interesting cultural connections happen outside the exhibition room, over a discussion that brings different industries together. That is where POYAUD enters the programme, with its founder moderating the opening panel. The independent advisory works across luxury experiences, cultural initiatives and international partnerships, drawing on an approach inspired by the French art de vivre. Its focus is on meaningful encounters, heritage and access.

For visitors, the programme continues beyond the conference. A cultural tour is scheduled for 14 November, followed by an awards gala on 15 November recognising achievements in art, culture and social impact. The public exhibition viewing runs from 13 to 15 November, between 3pm and 10pm, giving Dubai residents an opportunity to discover work by women artists from different countries and creative backgrounds.

At DIFC Gate Village, where business conversations and cultural experiences regularly share the same address, Art Connects Women offers a chance to consider art from another perspective. Visit the public exhibition between 13 and 15 November, and leave room for the conversations as well as the artworks. Both deserve attention!
