This summer, the Ajman Department of Tourism Development is set to inspire and educate the next generation with its new training initiative, “Self-Exploration through Tourism.” Running throughout July 2024, the program aims to equip young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors essential for thriving in various professional fields.

Participants of the “Self-Exploration through Tourism” program will have the opportunity to delve into several critical disciplines. The marketing and promotion segment will teach effective strategies and techniques to attract visitors and tourists to Ajman. In the tourism and hospitality module, trainees will learn to deliver top-notch services, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Additionally, the program covers modern graphic design techniques, equipping participants with the skills to create compelling promotional campaigns. The human resources component will offer insights into recruitment, training, and performance management, while the legal foundations segment will help participants understand the laws and regulations governing the tourism sector. The accounting module will introduce the basics of managing accounts and budgets within the industry.
