From fragrance and luxury retail to grooming, Day Two explored where beauty is heading next.

  • Fragrance experts unpacked five trends shaping the category’s future.
  • Gen Z and Alpha took centre stage in fragrance conversations.
  • Beauty retail discussions explored luxury, personalisation and consumer connection.
  • Dubai’s position as beauty’s new capital took centre stage.

Fragrance counters, packed conference seats and live beauty demonstrations kept Beautyworld Dubai moving through its second day. With the 30th edition now well underway, Beautyworld Dubai Day 2 turned the spotlight towards changing consumer behaviour, new fragrance directions, luxury retail and the Middle East’s growing influence on beauty.

The morning opened with fragrance. Hani Jabbour of Chalhoub Group explored the top five fragrance trends expected to shape the category’s next chapter, touching on shifting preferences, innovation and new opportunities for brands. It was a sharp look at where the market could be heading.

Gen Z and Alpha soon became the focus. A panel featuring voices from Givaudan, Symrise, OMANLUXURY, Scendira, Collateral Projects and Düllberg Konzentra explored what younger fragrance consumers actually value, from gender-neutral scents and sustainability to authenticity and social discovery. Loyalty starts differently now.

By midday, the conversation moved from consumer behaviour to craftsmanship. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Master Perfumer at Louis Vuitton, joined the Next in Fragrance Conference for a conversation around creation, collaboration and building a House’s scent identity. Rebecca Kirchmeier of Düllberg Konzentra then explored the rise of neo-gourmand fragrances, where unexpected ingredients and sophisticated accords are giving sweetness a more modern edge.

Across the show floor, beauty retail was another major talking point. Amy Jackson Westwick joined a discussion on how brands and retailers are capturing attention and connecting with today’s consumers, while Mia Collins of Harrods explored how luxury retail is reshaping fragrance through storytelling and personalised service. The details matter.

Beautyworld Dubai Day 2 also gave the region’s wider market a moment in the spotlight. A panel featuring regional founders and Euromonitor’s Amna Abbas examined the Middle East as beauty’s new capital, looking at investment, growth and the forces driving the region’s rising influence.

On beautyLIVE, the energy shifted towards technique. Josh Lamonaca brought modern men’s grooming into focus, combining traditional barbering precision with contemporary methods, while Mounir delivered a live masterclass centred on distinctive colour techniques and salon-ready inspiration.

Elsewhere, a multicultural perfumery panel explored how ingredients, traditions and olfactive stories are crossing borders, while The Natural Notes panel connected brands with natural ingredient producers at the start of the supply chain.

Among the stands, UAE-founded NAD+OLOGY stood out with its science-led approach to hand care. Its debut collection combines NAD+, NMN and peptides, with products formulated, bottled and packaged in the UAE. The collection is launching exclusively at Beautyworld Dubai.

For Dubai’s beauty community, Day Two offered plenty to take away. From fragrance innovation to regional investment and hands-on artistry, the conversations reflected a market that’s becoming more sophisticated, diverse and globally influential!
