Novecento Dubai is celebrating Amaretto Week with four Disaronno-based cocktails that are equal parts elegant and surprising, all at AED 35.
- Amaretto Week at Novecento Dubai runs from April 17 to 25, 2026 only
- Four limited-edition Disaronno cocktails are priced at just AED 35 each
- Disaronno traces its origins back to Saronno, Italy, in the year 1525
- The Amaretto Negroni and Sbagliato are the boldest twists on the menu
Amaretto cocktails Dubai has largely kept in the background of its bar scene, treated as the quiet Italian cousin of the more loudly celebrated aperitivo movement. Which makes Novecento Dubai’s decision to dedicate an entire week to them, from April 17 to 25 at their Dubai Silicon Oasis location, feel both timely and slightly overdue. The Italian restaurant has built a loyal following for its food, its Aperitivo hour and its easy Lake Como energy in an unlikely part of the city. Now it is doing something genuinely interesting behind the bar.
The occasion is Amaretto Week, built around Disaronno, the liqueur that has been going since 1525 in the town of Saronno. That is not a typo. Five hundred years of smooth almond, vanilla and caramel, distilled into one of the most recognisable bottles in Italy and, frankly, the world. Novecento has used it as the base for four limited-edition cocktails, each priced at AED 35, each worth ordering in a different order than you would expect.
Four Cocktails, Four Completely Different Moods
The menu reads like a personality test for whoever is sitting across the table from you:
- Amaretto Sour: Disaronno, angostura bitters and lemon. The classic. The one that converts sceptics.
- Amaretto Negroni: Disaronno, Bombay Sapphire and Campari. Bold, bitter, unexpectedly excellent.
- Amaretto Sbagliato: Disaronno, Campari and prosecco. Light, effervescent and deeply Italian.
- Amaretto Sesamo: Disaronno, blended Scotch whisky, sesame and lemon. The wildcard. Order it last.

Novecento is a premium contemporary Italian restaurant with tradition, authenticity and la dolce vita at its heart, and the cocktail menu reflects exactly that sensibility. These are not novelty drinks designed to photograph well and taste forgettable. They are considered combinations that respect both the liqueur and the guest doing the drinking.
The Amaretto Negroni is the standout for anyone who likes their cocktails with structure and a little confrontation. The bitterness of Campari and the botanicals of Bombay Sapphire are a genuine surprise alongside the sweetness of Disaronno, and the result is a drink that rewards slow sipping. The Sbagliato, with its prosecco lift and Campari depth, is the one for the table that wants to feel like they are somewhere on the Amalfi Coast rather than Dubai Digital Park. Both are entirely convincing.
Novecento prides itself on creating tradition and authenticity in every dish and drink, drawing on hundreds of years of Italian culinary history while bringing modern flair to everything it serves. At AED 35 a cocktail, Amaretto Week is one of the better-value Italian drinking experiences available in the city right now. The window is short. It closes on April 25.
