Technology is most powerful when it can be experienced, not explained. In the heart of Al Quoz, NMK Electronics has brought this belief to life with the launch of NMK Beyond, a 21,500 sq ft immersive technology hub designed to change how people discover, understand, and deploy modern solutions. Built as a living, breathing environment, the space allows visitors to see, hear, and interact with technology exactly as it would function in the real world.

Rather than relying on brochures or isolated product demos, NMK Beyond places innovation into context. Every zone mirrors an actual workplace, studio, classroom, or entertainment venue, allowing professionals to explore how audio, video, lighting, control, infrastructure, and collaboration technologies work together seamlessly. It is a practical approach that reflects how technology is increasingly woven into daily operations across industries.

Stephen Fenby, Managing Director at the Midwich Group, highlighted the relevance of the space as the region accelerates toward experience-led environments. With the UAE investing heavily in connected ecosystems, NMK Beyond offers a tangible platform where ideas can be tested, validated, and understood before they are deployed. It bridges the gap between concept and execution, helping decision-makers move forward with clarity.

Inside the hub, visitors can explore a wide range of purpose-built environments, including immersive audio visual spaces, a Dolby Atmos-enabled recording and listening studio, AI-powered meeting and training rooms, and content creation zones designed for modern production workflows. Each setup demonstrates how technology behaves in real installations, removing guesswork and building confidence through interaction.

Alex Kemanes, Regional Managing Director MESEA at Midwich Group, explained that the space was intentionally designed for both technical and non-technical audiences. Technology operates quietly in the background, allowing users to focus on experience rather than complexity. This approach empowers partners and customers to make informed decisions based on firsthand understanding, not theory.

Beyond showcasing innovation, NMK Beyond plays a critical role in building regional capability. In 2025 alone, the centre welcomed more than 6,000 visitors, with over 4,000 industry professionals participating in hands-on training, certifications, and demonstrations. Students and emerging professionals also use the space to explore how enterprise and production technologies are applied in real environments, helping shape the next generation of specialists.

The hub has already hosted global industry experts, including renowned live sound engineers and technologies used by internationally recognised performers. These same tools are now being explored for workplaces, classrooms, and creative industries, reinforcing the idea that professional technology is no longer confined to stages or studios.

At launch, NMK Electronics also announced key strategic developments, including becoming the exclusive GCC distributor for Neat and unveiling a new Control Room within NMK Beyond to support critical operations environments.

With nearly four decades of regional leadership, NMK Electronics continues to evolve its role from distributor to enabler. NMK Beyond stands as a space where innovation can be explored with purpose, tested with confidence, and applied with real-world impact!
