Penfolds, the iconic wine brand, celebrates its 180th anniversary with a groundbreaking collaboration with renowned fashion designer NIGO. The limited-edition Grange by NIGO, first introduced globally in February, is now available in select African & Eastern retail stores across Dubai.

This remarkable release marks the first-ever design takeover of Penfolds’ flagship luxury wine, Grange. Revered by wine collectors worldwide, the 2019 vintage is presented in a specially designed gift box, individually numbered and featuring a bold grape graphic and Human Made’s iconic typography, crafted by NIGO himself. Each box includes a bandana, a bottle neck tag, and an authenticity certificate.

Reflecting on his inspiration from his visit to Penfolds Magill Estate Winery in South Australia, NIGO expressed his admiration for the craftsmanship and history behind the wine. This collaboration not only honors Penfolds’ legacy but also introduces a playful and fresh design, embodying NIGO’s innovative spirit.

Penfolds Chief Marketing Officer, Kristy Keyte, praised the partnership, highlighting it as a brave and refreshing departure from tradition. The unique design approach aligns with Penfolds’ history of pushing boundaries in winemaking.

With production limited and high demand among fine wine and fashion enthusiasts, the Grange by NIGO collection is a must-have. Future projects between Penfolds and NIGO are set to be announced later in 2024.
