Dubai’s Halloween calendar tends to favour spectacle, but the city’s more intriguing nights are often the ones that build an atmosphere rather than simply adding costumes. Voyage Halloween takes that approach this October, turning an intimate Downtown Dubai speakeasy into a darker interpretation of Día de los Muertos, where candlelight, marigolds, tequila and late-night music set the mood.
A few steps above the energy of Address Sky View, the second-floor space at Amelia Lounge will look markedly different after 11:30pm. Glowing marigolds and ornate sugar skulls will sit among sculptural florals, flickering candles and moody lighting. It’s theatrical. Every detail is meant to draw guests further in.
After dinner, Dubai’s nightlife crowd often looks for somewhere that feels different from the usual club circuit. Voyage by Amelia taps into that appetite with a three-night celebration running from 29 to 31 October, using Día de los Muertos symbolism as the visual starting point rather than relying on familiar Halloween clichés.

Then comes the soundtrack. A curated DJ programme will move through deep, melodic and high-energy sounds across the three nights, with each evening taking on its own rhythm as the crowd gathers and the room shifts from cocktails into full late-night mode. Music drives the room.
