As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Gargash Hospital, in partnership with Being She, is rolling out the ‘Future is Her’ initiative on October 5, 2024. Women across the UAE are invited to receive free ultrasound and mammogram screenings at Gargash Hospital from 10 am to 6 pm. This event is designed to promote breast cancer prevention and encourage early detection.
Women visiting the hospital during the event will have access to free gynaecological check-ups and screening vouchers, which can be redeemed throughout October. Tailored scans, including ABUS (Automated Breast Ultrasound) and age-specific ultrasounds, will be available for women under and over 40. These services highlight the importance of individualized care in cancer prevention.
Ghada Sawalmah, CEO of Gargash Hospital, emphasized the hospital’s commitment to supporting women’s health, stating, “By offering free mammograms and personalized health scans, we aim to encourage early detection of breast cancer, the most common cancer among women in the UAE.”
The collaboration with Being She, an international platform founded by Aparna Bajpai, further strengthens this initiative. Aparna shared, “This partnership enables us to reach more women, empowering them to take preventive action against breast cancer.”
