A new car purchase often starts with a few open tabs, a shortlist of models and plenty of questions about what driving life might look like. For anyone exploring Geely Abu Dhabi, there’s now a much bigger place to do that homework in person. AGMC has opened the Middle East’s largest Geely showroom on Airport Road, bringing conventional, electric and hybrid models together under one roof.
Car buyers are no longer looking at just one kind of engine when comparing their next vehicle. Some want the familiarity of petrol, while others are curious about battery-powered driving or the flexibility of a plug-in hybrid. Having all three options in one place makes the comparison easier. That’s the thinking behind AGMC’s new 1,510 sqm facility.
The showroom is divided into two distinct spaces. The 840 sqm conventional vehicle area can display up to 12 cars, while a separate 670 sqm Geely NEV showroom has room for another 12. Each has its own identity. The dedicated NEV space is particularly notable, as AGMC describes it as the largest Geely NEV showroom in the Middle East.
For drivers curious about making the switch to electric, seeing a vehicle up close can be a useful first step. The dedicated showroom features the fully electric Geely EX5, alongside plug-in hybrid models that offer another route into new energy vehicles.

The range also includes the newly launched Geely Monjaro EM-i and Geely EX5 EM-i. Another model drawing attention is the full-size Geely M9, which is currently on display and available for pre-booking. That gives visitors a chance to explore a larger vehicle option while getting a closer look at Geely’s expanding electrified line-up.
The timing is interesting for UAE car buyers. The country ranked first in the GCC for electric mobility readiness in 2026, while electric vehicles accounted for around nine per cent of new vehicle sales in 2025, according to a report cited by WAM. The appetite for alternatives is there, but choosing between fully electric and plug-in hybrid technology still calls for a closer look.
For residents making their way along Airport Road, the new AGMC facility offers a single destination to compare Geely’s growing range without hopping between separate locations. Its two-showroom format gives conventional and new energy models their own space.
Whether the next car is petrol-powered, fully electric or a plug-in hybrid, the best place to start is often behind the wheel. Abu Dhabi drivers can now add this new Geely destination to their showroom shortlist.
