In preparation of the incoming holiday season, The Lime Tree Café will launch festive-themed shopping mornings on November 29 and December 6. Expect Christmas music, seasonal food sampling, non-alcoholic mulled wine tasting, festive shopping opportunities and gift wrapping services – ideal for anyone looking to browse, nibble, meet local artisans, and get into the spirit of the season.
The free-to-attend event invites customers from 9am to 1pm, the fully-decorated Sheikh Zayed Road located café will transform into a winter wonderland, filled with Christmas nibbles for tasting – including Lime Tree’s made-in-house mince pies, Christmas scones, as well as artisanal crackers and festive chutneys.
While in-store, visitors will be able to browse and shop for gourmet treats for their loved ones this holiday season. Treats on offer include specially-curated festive items like gingerbread biscotti, cranberry & vanilla shortbread, peppermint & white chocolate bark, cheddar & thyme biscotti, stilton & caramelized onion artisan crackers with tomato & chilli jam, Lime Tree’s house blend of mulled wine spices, as well as luxury utensils, handwoven rugs, hand-blown glasses, Christmas-scented candles and much more.
