In a melodic ode paying homage to the maestro Ennio Morricone, Dubai’s illustrious all-female Firdaus Orchestra, composed of 58 talented musicians from 28 diverse countries, has unveiled a breathtaking tribute through three captivating videos.

Mentored by the eminent composer A.R. Rahman, the Firdaus Orchestra made its entrancing debut at Expo 2020. This phenomenal ensemble, crafted under the guidance of Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister for International Cooperation and Director General of Expo City Dubai, has presented an evocative and heartfelt homage to the legendary Italian composer.

Ennio Morricone’s legacy as one of the most exceptional film composers echoes across generations. His multitude of international accolades stands as a testament to his unparalleled contributions to cinematic music. The Firdaus Orchestra’s tribute to Morricone’s timeless compositions is showcased through three mesmerizing videos, each painting a unique portrait of his celebrated filmography.

These remarkable videos, displayed on YouTube, capture the essence of Morricone’s masterpieces, reimagined through the Firdaus Orchestra’s distinctive lens. Shot entirely using an iPhone at the Firdaus Studio in Expo City Dubai, these visual symphonies unveil the orchestra’s exceptional interpretation of Morricone’s revered musical legacy.
